What are the Benefits of carrot juice?
Yummy, nice way to insert some carrot-stuff, yet I’d recommend a shake (to get all the fibers) or to eat the carrot itself (same reason). Juice means more carrots (which is a somewhat waste) and more degradable carbohydrates which to some can be less beneficial. However it’s a nice juice. But again. Juice. In general, juices aren’t that recommended (usually from fruits but it’s basically the same)[1] .
Carrot juice intake is interesting, and here’s a lovely abstract about it.[2]
a Different study concluded that: “Sensitivity analyses showed that carrot juice, prepared/cooked carrots or total carrot intakes were not statistical significantly associated with incidence of CRC.”[3] which means that its effects are less, well, effective as it seems.
Now, regarding effect on eye muscles, which one might ask – it’s less about the muscles and more about the proteins involved in eyesight and all, that are using Retinal as part of their system. So, Vitamin A (Retinol/nal/oic acid), which its pre-vitamin form (carotenoids) are abundant in carrots, is indeed essential for eyesight, but I cannot say that more-juice-means-more-eyesight. Just proper nutrition, that’s all.
